Why do an internship?
An internship will help you stand out to future employers! It will boost your employability by helping to develop your experience, confidence, network and understanding of the working world.
Overall, you will grow as a person, and you’ll be able to take your new skills and personal growth forward into your next role.
Mumbai is an energetic, modern city with a population of more than 18 million. The city has a fascinating history: once called Bombay, it has been under Portuguese and British control and became independent with the rest of India in 1947. Mumbai is India’s financial and commercial hub, with strong industries in trade, development, finance, engineering, fisheries, healthcare, information technology, media and entertainment and more.
The programme funding includes:
- Programme/course fee
- Internship brokerage fee
- Living and accommodation allowance
- Travel insurance
Your internship could be in the field of human rights, education, youth development, public health and medicine, environment, urban planning, media and design, public relations, marketing, advertising or something else altogether.
Your experience will be managed and supported on-the-ground by the Academic Internship Council, our internship partner.
