What: One week of cutting edge lectures and demonstrations in London, followed by a visit to the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
Five students will be selected by the Royal Society of New Zealand to attend the London International Youth Science Forum and CERN which takes place in July/August of 2017. This is a residential event and students will stay at the Imperial College, London. The theme for LYISF in 2017 is “Science – Making Life Better”. Participants will attend lectures and demonstrations from leading scientists, visit research centres, scientific institutions and world class laboratories and universities.
